According to the preliminary data of the Department of Statistics of Lithuania, in 2011 the national key economic indicators were improving

A press release of the Department of Statistics of Lithuania says that during the last three years the preliminary national indicators demonstrated the fastest growth of 5.8 percent. The press release states that at the price level at that time Lithuania's GDP amounted to LTL105.7b and at constant prices exceeded the 2006 level. In December, the annual inflation stood at 3.4 percent, which is 0.4 percentage point lower than in December 2010. In 2011, the unemployment rate in Lithuania amounted to 15.4 percent and it was 2.4 percentage point lower than in 2010.
